Internships
Students enrolled in Culinary Principles (625-Hour) and Fundamentals of Basic Food Service (250-Hour) are required to complete an enriching internship experience. The internship component of these courses are designed as a continuation of skills development while gaining on-the-job training. Students are encouraged to select an internship geared towards the career path they wish to pursue post-graduation and to use there networking skills, learned in Professional Development classes, to build lasting relationships with other professionals in the field.

Career Navigation

We at D'Avolio Culinary Institute have an unshaken commitment to the career development needs of our students and alumni. Students enrolled in Culinary Principles (625-Hour) and Fundamentals of Basic Food Service (250-Hour) are supported in their professional pursuits during and after their education. Students are assisted with navigating the culinary field in WNY (or a destination of their choosing), job searching, and applications. Alumni are welcome to seek these services for a life-time post-graduation.
Professional Development
Students are equipped with the tools necessary for navigating the fast-paced and "in-demand" field of the culinary arts. Our Culinary Principles (625-Hour) and Fundamentals of Basic Food Service (250-Hour) courses are designed to give the student the opportunity to be self-reflective of their experience and skill sets; explore best practices when working as a member of a team; construct essential tools such as work portfolios, resumes, and cover letters; and gain a deeper understanding of interviewing.
