D'Avolio Culinary Institute is Western New York's leading private culinary arts learning community. Our institution is licensed by the NYS Department of Education, BPSS. Founded in 2015 by Danny Gagliardo, DCI started its work committed to students that require special accommodations in the classroom or kitchen. With our understanding that everyone should be given a chance to enjoy the art of cooking healthy and nutritious food, the faculty and staff are sensitive to the different needs of our students.

We are located on the beautiful camus of St. Mary's School for the Deaf. Positioned just uptown from Sister's Hospital, our campus is a secure facility protected 24/7 by the SMSD Security Team and the Canisius College Campus Safety Department. Our Main Street campus is well connected to the NFTA bus and train systems with ample parking available on campus as well.
Healthy Options for our customers is at the core of what we do! Our restaurants are champions of the Healthy Options initiative of Independent Health. Visit any of our restaurant locations to sample the finest oils and vinegars while enjoying a gourmet sandwich, salad, or pizza!
